The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has branded the policy document of the opposition New Patriotic Party as the devil’s manifesto because it was launched it on Sunday.

According to Mr Anyidoho, the launch which took place last Sunday at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre, La was designed to prevent many Christian members of the NPP from going to church.Adomfmonline reports that he made the comment while addressing NDC supporters at Ashaiman, claiming that the opposition party is advocating the devil’s work by choosing a Sunday for its manifesto launch.

Many big-wigs of the NPP including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, presidential aspirant, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and vice presidential aspirant, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as well as thousands of supporters of the party thronged the venue for the launch.

Mr Anyidoho contended that only sinners would choose a holy day to present their plans for a country to the citizenry.

“They are going to Trade fair to sin. The party has nothing better in their manifesto. That manifesto is the devil’s manifesto,” he said.
