A nine-year-old boy has died through electric shock at Pokuase, a suburb of Amasaman in the Greater Accra, Thursday.
The boy, Eric had been walking home after closing from church when he lent briefly against a fridge post that was live from a faulty wire, and was blasted across the house.
According to Daily View Gh‘s Dan kwasi Prince report, after closing church with his mother, Eric climbed a fridge which had bare cables around it in to remove (Head Phone Radio).
As he jumped onto the fridge, Eric received a severe shock leading to his untimely death.
His mother said they quickly rushed him to hospital but, Eric was dead.
