Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured Ghanaians of delivering on his promises if given the mandate to govern the country.
According to him, all the alternative policies that he has been preaching about in his countrywide tour are well planned in such a way that if implemented would benefit Ghanaians.
He said the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have always doubted the abilities of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition and gone ahead to campaign against their alternative policies but yet make a u-turn to implement same when the going gets tough for them.
Every time the NPP is working to bring development in the country, you will get the Pharisees (NDC) telling us that we can’t do it. During the 2012 election I said if you vote for me I will ensure a fees-free Senior High School education, so all our children will go to school. Mahama said it was not possible and that I was lying to Ghanaians. But when he was voted into office, he said he will do the same thing and that he will build about 200 community Senior High Schools in the country”, he noted.
The leader of the elephant family made this observation when addressing thousands of party followers who stormed the Dome/Kwabenya constituency to lend their support to the campaign launch of the MP for the area, Sarah Adwoa Safo, at the Atomic Park in Accra on Wednesday.
Akufo-Addo continuing said ever since President Mahama made the pledge to build 200 community Senior High Schools, he has been able to build and commission five till date, asking the people to identify between him and President Mahama, who is deceiving Ghanaians?
