Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper Ben Ephson says the NPP flag bearer Nana Akufo Addo will breach no law should he name his campaign team before a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting is held.
According to Mr. Ephson, the most important thing is for Nana Addo to put out his campaign team as early as possible to enable them start strategizing for the 2016 elections.
He reiterated that, Nana Addo doesn’t need to communicate his team to a NEC before they can commence work.
Speaking to Kasapa 102.3 FMs Maame Broni, the pollster stated clearly that Nana Addo does not need to include Kwabena Agyapong and Paul Afoko in his campaign team because their positions are to man the day to day aspect of the party and oversee the link between the campaign and the party.
“I have never seen a campaign team with a party secretary or its chairman. They have to run the office; the campaign team is for those who will go the field. The national chairman and secretary can work from behind the scenes” He said.
