An unlucky Royal Motorbike thief who was pursued by a mob was caught and stabbed severally in the chest, at the heart area.
Daily View Gh.com learnt that on Wednesday, 19th at about 8am, police received information about the deceased’s dead body which was found lying at Okonya, Nkurakan on Nkurakan Adukrom road. The police later identified the deceased as Prince Tetteh aged 24 and a welder at Koforidua Magazine.
While police have deposited his body at the mortuary awaiting autopsy investigations revealed that the deceased and one other now at large went and stole Royal RYGY 150 motorbike no.M-11-ER 574 at Nkuranka.
Ernest Teye aged 32 and others chased them. In an attempt to arrest them, the deceased stabbed Ernest Teye at the back. He was rushed to the Koforidua Regional hospital for treatment by one Suleman Mohammed.
A mob traced the alleged robber to a distance and stabbed him to death.
