The Ashanti Regional Minister Peter Anerfi Mensah has threatened court action against the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano North Kwesi Adusei for alleging he masterminded the attack his constituency Chairman.
He has also indicated that he would not hesitate to join ultimate fm to the suit for providing him the platform to make the unsubstantiated allegations against him.
Speaking to Ultimate Breakfast show host Prince Minkah, the Minister observed that the MP is trying to soil his hard won reputation and therefore must resort to the courts to clear his name.
He described Kwesi Adusei as frustrated indicating that any matured politician will not tow his line of politics.
“I hope when I sue him and join ultimate fm for providing him the platform he will be able to prove where I orchestrated the attack on my constituency chairman Samuel Awuni”. He questioned
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano North Kwesi Adusei alleges the Regional Minister is employing acts of intimidation in his parliamentary bid.
According to him, constituents have openly kicked against his plans to become parliamentary candidate for the area on the ticket of the NDC but he is unwilling to step aside and is said to be engaging in murderous acts to smooth his way.
He claims the minister will not make more than to 20% considering how unpopular he is among constituents in the Ahafo Ano North constituency.
“I can assure u that he will not cross above 20% votes”. The MP remarked.
But the Minister in a sharp rebuttal disclosed that November 7 will determine the predictions of the incumbent MP as he is not known for campaigning on radio and other media platforms.
