A car dealership in China had to be closed for the afternoon so staff could count out about $11,000 worth of coins used to purchase a car.

A video recorded Dec. 17 at a dealership office in Putian City, Fujian Province, shows employees at the BMW dealership’s office using every available surface — including the floors — to count out coins from more than 10 large boxes.

The coins were reportedly brought in by a man who said he wanted to use them to purchase a car.

The businessman told dealership employees he had been saving up all of his coins and eventually decided to use them to buy the car.
