Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah resumed full training on Monday following a month injury layoff.

The Juventus playmaker suffered a knee sprain in a 1-0 win over Palermo last month, ruling him out of the stalemates with Uganda and South Africa.

The former Liberty Professionals man is, however, in line to return to the national outfit for the crunch 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Egypt on November 13 after making an earlier-than-expected recovery.

The development is the latest positive news from Ghana’s camp following Andre Ayew’s return to full training at West Ham last week.

The Black Stars sit second from bottom in Group E after the Uganda deadlock, and need a good result against the Pharaohs to keep their chances of reaching Russia 2018 alive.

Having rejoined the Bianconerri’s first team training, Asamoah could be available for selection when Juve host Sampdoria in the Serie A on Wednesday.

The Accra-born has made four league appearances so far this season.
