2015 was definitely one of the best years for Actress Benedicta Gafah. She survived a deadly Accident,got nominated for City People Entertainment Awards in Nigeria, produced two movies Odo Asa and AFIA Yakubu which earned 12 Nominations at Kumawood Awards.
The pretty actress started the New year with another Victory. Benedicta Gafah was crowned the BEST Actress LEAD in the 5th Edition of Kumawood Awards which was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel on 23rd January 2016.

Even though Nana Ama Mc Brown,Liwin,Kwaku Manu and Vivian Jill,Agya Koo couldn’t attend the awards because of some unknown reasons the show was still marvelous and attendance was above average. All winners apart from Liwin were present at the Ceremony, Nero X,Patience Nyarko,School Boys and Comedian Makantah were the performers at the Night. KKD and Emelia Brobbey showed some Azonto moves at the night.
MCs were Lovin Cee of Fox Fm and Dayenne of Price Fm.
