Reports reaching Daily View Gh indicate Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s team bus carrying the players and coaching staff has been involved in a serious accident at Nkawkaw in the eastern region.

The team was returning to their base in Kumasi after losing 1 – 0 to Inter Allies football club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.Reports indicate the driver , the coach , some technical team members and several players including Godwin Ablordey have sustained serious injuries and are in critical condition.

Players receiving treatment at the Holy Family Hospital include skipper Amos Frimpong, Baba Mahama, Ahmed Adams as well as assistant coach Godwin Ablordey.

The vehicle is said to have crashed into a stationary vehicle.
