Popular Ghanaian actors, Kalybos, and Bismark the Joke, have hit the road to campaign for Akufo-Addo and the NPP in just 5 days to the 2020 General Elections.
They are seen clad in NPP T-shirt with fliers in their hands massively campaigning for the NPP against their own colleague, John Dumelo, who is contesting on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in that constituency.
The competition between NDC’s John Dumelo and the incumbent MP on the ticket of the NPP Hon. Lydia Alhassan is getting interesting by the day.
They called on all Ghanaians voting within that constituency to choose candidate one on the presidential ballot paper and number one also on the parliamentary ballot paper.
Each aspirant is making sure to do the best even if it requires them to go the extreme to win the votes of the electorates come December 7.
John Dumelo, who is first known as a celebrity actor has switched from appearing on the screens to politics where he is seeking to lead his constituency in the next parliament as MP.
Actors like Prince David Osei, Kalybos, Bibi Bright and a host of others including former Musiga president, Obour have all stormed the Ayawaso west wuogon constituency to campaign vigorously against the NDC candidate.
Ayawaso is a sprawling residential and commercial area, home to the striking 2008 presidential palace, Flagstaff House, and numerous foreign embassies. Hotels, shopping malls, and regional and global restaurants are clustered near Kotoka International Airport.
