The second accused person in the JB Danquah murder trial, Vincent Booso alias Junior Agogo was today accused of stealing GHc 20 at a police station where he is being kept.

According to the police officers who escorted the two accused persons to court, Junior Agogo took the money from the counter of the police station when he was being brought to court.

They claim the money meant to be used for some expenses at the station surprisingly went missing this morning.

After a public search within the premises of the court while sitting was on recess, the GHc 20 note was found in the pocket of Agogo wrapped in a white paper.

The accused person denied stealing the money saying it was given to him by a police officer.

Vincent Bosso was arraigned last week and charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case in which Daniel Asiedu is standing trial for allegedly killing the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu.

Asiedu has been charged with murder while Bosso has been charged with abetment.

They were both remanded by the court into police custody.  The case has been adjourned to June 2, 2016.
