President John Dramani Mahama has admonished the chiefs and people of the Mamprugu land in the Northern Region to ignore their kinsman, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) thrice running mate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia, and massively vote for him at the 2016 polls.

He said in Mampruli, “Ka bin dogi imini so nnye imabia” to wit, your biological brother might turn out not to be your real brother.

For this reason, he promised the chief of Kperiga, Ghana’s former Ambassador to Burkina Faso and also Dr. Bawumia’s half brother, Chief Dauda Mandiaya Bawumia Ambassadorial portfolio for a country (withheld).
