Legendary gospel musician Yaw Sarpong and his popular Asomafo band are preparing to embark on a nationwide peace campaign tour to drum home the relevance of peace and unity.
Speaking at a naming ceremony of twins named after him (Elijah Kofi Sarpong and Elisha Kofi Sarpong) at the International New Life Revival Chapel in Accra (Sowutuom)the ace musician shared his personal experience in Liberia during their civic war that destroyed the entire country paying tribute to his guitarist who lost his life during the war whilst they were in Liberia.
The professor of music also cautioned political leaders to sensitize their followers to uphold the peace we are enjoying in the country till date.
