Ghana has slipped two places to occupy the 45th position in the latest world ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), for the month of October.
Ghana, initially rated 43rd dropped two places with 628 points accumulated to lie behind defending champions Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia who are placed 31st, 37th, Algeria 35th Tunisia 38th respectively in the globe.
Argentina still maintained their spot on top with 1621 points while Germany and Brazil have moved to the second and third positions respectively.
Ghana is ranked the fifth in the continent.
However, Ghana’s group opponents at the AFCON, Egypt, have been ranked 46th in the world, just behind Ghana while Mali is placed 58th in the world.
