GBA proposes reduction in punishment for not wearing face masks in public

The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has described as harsh the punishment to be meted out to persons who flout the COVID-19 safety protocols by refusing to wear face masks in public.

As part of measures to help curb the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID -19) and under the Executive Instrument (E.I. 164) in the Impostitino of Restrictions Act 2020 (ACT 1012), it is an offence to refuse to wear a face mask in public.
