Acting Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Freddie Blay has been appointed Board Chairman of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
Other members of the newly constituted board are Dr K. K. Sarpong, Managing Director of GNPC, and Mr Kwabena Kwakye, a radio show host at Oman FM.
The other members are Naa Prof J. S. Nabilla, former president of the National House of Chiefs and Wulugu Naba, Mr Yaw Kyei, Nana Adwoa Hackman, and Ogyeahohoᴐ Yaw Gyebi II, Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso and President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs.
A letter signed by the Chief Of Staff, Madam Akosua Osei Opare and addressed to the Minister of Energy made this known.
The letter advised the Minister to make arrangements and swear the board members in.
