Multiple award-winning rapper, Flowking Stone successfully kicked off “Mekyeakyea Tour” last Friday, October 16 at Dunkwa-On-Offin, the capital of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal District, a district in the Central Region of south Ghana.
The rapper who recently released “Fire Bon Dem” on Friday night did not allow the downpour of rain stop the “Mekyeakyea Tour” concert to take the first step. Flowking Stone together with other supporting artistes who traveled to Dunkwa-On-Offin and Obuasi for the October 16 and 17 concert respectively defied the rain to stage the event.
People of Dunkwa-On-Offin and Obuasi and its nearby communities trooped to the venue of the show despite the rains which started few minutes to the start of the two shows. Fans of Flowking Stone proved that they are with him whether rain or shine when they set their faces against the rain to attend the shows.
Aside Flowking Stone, some of the renowned musicians who performed at the Dunkwa-On-Offin and Obuasi “Mekyeakyea Tour” concert were Kunta Kinte of Bradez fame, Cabum, Strongman, Kofi Kapone, K Danso and many others. These top Ghanaian musicians delivered first class performance to entertain the event goers who refused to obey the rain and attended the two shows.
The “Mekyeakyea Tour” stops at Sunyani in few days.
