There’s been an on-going debate as to the actual age of Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama Mcbrown and many Ghanaians were shocked when it was revealed that she is 41 years old.
The A-List actress who has been acting as far back as 2003 was born on the 17th of August and recently celebrated her birthday.
The year in which she was born is 1974 as written in Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia.
Dailyviewgh.com have strong reasons to believe that, the year stated in Wikipedia could be false as such entries are made by ordinary people who could have erred in writing the biography of Nana Ama Mcbrown.
To verify whether the year of birth as written in Wikipedia was true, Chris Handler of Dailyviewgh.com called Nana Ama Mcbrown for a phone interview.
When Chris Handler quizzed her about her birth year, she replied saying that, the information about her age in Wikipedia was false and that she didn’t put that there.
She went ahead to say that, she doesn’t care if people believe her or not. “They sent the wrong information and it’s none of my business. I don’t know who took it there (wikipedia).
I have my passport, I don’t need anybody to confirm my age” she said “ I wasn’t born in that year on Wikipedia and I don’t need to discuss my age with anybody.
They are not my mother” When Chris Handler, suggested that, she was then born in 1984, she replied that she wasn’t born in the 80s but in the very late 70s.
Could it be that, you were born in 1984? Chris Handler asked. “No I wasn’t born in the 80s, I was born in the 70s, very late 70s. I don’t know why they want to give me that age.
Sweetheart, you don’t have to call me this morning to ask me this question, I just woke up.” she mentioned.
If Nana Ama was born in the very late 70s, then it could either be that she was born in 1977, 1978 or even 1979, meaning she is either 36, 37 or 38 years old.
Well, now at least, we have a fair idea of her real age. She’s not yet 41 as some reports have suggested.
