Mrs Gifty Mawunya Dumelo has sent out a touching message to congratulate John Dumelo.
The Ghanaian actor contested the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NDC but lost to NPP’s incumbent MP, Lydia Alhassan with about 2000 votes difference.
In a long post on her social media, Miss Gee as she is affectionately called congratulated her husband on what she calls a “spectacular performance.”
She also asked her husband to dust off the defeat because he was born king and a leader.
According to Mrs Dumelo, her husband put up a spectacular performance by contending at the strong hold of NPP on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress. She expressed her admiration to John Dumelo for being an inspiration to many.
Dumelo contested the Ayawaso West seat against incumbent MP Lydia Alhassan of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) losing by a little over 2,000 votes.
