Election 2016: Ekikimi Hitmaker Wisa Greid Calls For Peace and Unity

Hiplife artist Eugene Ashie, popularly known as Wisa Greid, is urging Ghanaians to ensure peace to create awareness on the need for peace and unity in the lead-up to the November 7 general elections.

In an interview with Daily View Gh Showbiz with Dan Kwasi Prince, Wisa said political leadership is from God, who wants his people to be managed well which is why political leadership has been placed in the hands of our politicians.

I will use the power of entertainment to sensitise Ghanaians on maintaining peace before, during, and after the elections.

Let all men live in peace’. He picked this from Romans chapter 12:18. If there is peace in Ghana, we can all be able to concentrate on our businesses. Ghana comes before all the political parties. At the end of the day, everyone has where he will cast his or her vote to but that doesn’t mean we should fight. No political party is bigger than Ghana. Don’t fight your brother because of politics.

He added that “the demarcation does not divide us, we are one body and we going to do our activities together. The Demarcation is only done to make the work easy, it is not done on tribal and ethnic divide”, Wisa Greid maintained.

He advised Ghanaians to go out and vote on Election Day and vote wisely. He urged Ghanaians not to sell their conscience but vote for a leader that will have positive effect on their lives.

Long Live Ghana!!!
