Thursday, June 16 was the birthday of Nigerian superstar Wizkid and Ghanaian radio and TV personality Amanda Jissih. The two entertainers had a nice time on the day in Ghana.
Amanda Jissih who started her new show ‘Showbiz Filla’ on Hitz FM in Accra last week talked to Wizkid on the show as part of their birthday celebration.
Wizkid who was celebrating his 25th birthday on the show which airs on weekdays from 1-3pm told Amanda Jissih that Drake contacted him for the remix of ‘Ojuelegba’ Remix.
He said, Drake reached out to him through rapper Skepta but he was in talks with rapper Rick Ross for the remix. Wizkid continued that Drake recorded the remix before Rick Ross got to hear the original song.
“Skepta said Drake liked the work, then he followed me on Instagram so he filled him in and later I met him in London where we recorded the song”.
MTN on Thursday also presented a birthday cake to Amanda Jissih, host of ‘Showbiz Filla’ on Hitz FM. Whilst hosting E-talk Show on GH One TV on Thursday evening, Telemo hitmaker Gasmilla also walked in with a birthday cake to surprise Amanda Jissih.
