Last Saturday’s Glitz Style Awards held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel was without controversy as there was a disagreement with one of the awards.
Wanlov Da Kubolor was nominated together in the Best Individual Style category with Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) and Noella Wiyaala, but it was the latter who won although there was a massive support for Wanlov in the auditorium.
Wanlov’s lost however did not go down well with his younger sister, as she boycotted her award presentation, forcing actress Lydia Forson to present the award on her (Deborah’s) behalf.
Although Lydia explained that Deborah Vanessa was unavailable to do the presentation, well, she was seated with his brother and the rest of the team. She just decided not to go.
Moments later, Deborah took to Twitter to confirm her disappointment…and quite explicitly so. She posted a video of the support for Wanlov just before Noella was announced winner.
