An Accra circuit court was on Friday forced to adjourn the case of embattled Hiplife musician Eugene Ashe, aka Wisa Greid after the representative of Accra-based Citi FM failed to show up in court to testify against him.

Daily View Gh’s court correspondent Dan Kwasi Prince reported that, the prosecution witness Jessica Opare Safaro who is the programs manager of Citi FM according to the prosecutor had fallen ill hence her failure to appear before the court.

The case was first adjourned by the court to February 24.

The investigator did not appear in court for hearing.

Wisa is facing trial for allegedly exposing his penis while performing at Citi FM’s December to remember concert at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 24, last year.

He has been charged with gross indecent exposure. He has since pleaded not guilty and is on an GH₵ 8,000 bail with one surety.

The case has been adjourned to October 10, 2016, where the witness is expected to come give her testimony.
