The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is shedding a total of 600 megawatts of power this evening [Monday].
This follows a request made to them by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo). A statement from the ECG said the action is due to “insuficient power generation.”
Accra, according to the statement, is benefiting from 220 megawatts. Below is the full statement:
