Blatter, Michel Platini could get seven-year bans

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is shedding a total of 600 megawatts of power this evening [Monday].

This follows a request made to them by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo). A statement from the ECG said the action is due to “insuficient power generation.”

Accra, according to the statement, is benefiting from 220 megawatts. Below is the full statement:

ECG is to undertake 600MW load relief between 18:00hrs and 06:00hrs due to insufficient power generation,the regions should therefore shed load as follows:
