Former president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has sent his congratulation message via a facebook, to Samir Bastie and Bukom Banku of their cruiserweight bout on Saturday night at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
President Mahama in his message said: “Great night of boxing at the Bukom Boxing Arena yesterday. The patronage, entertainment and competitive spirit fulfils the purpose for which the facility was built.
Congrats to winner Bastie and better luck next time to my friend and brother Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku. Both boxers were winners last night. I’m convinced that the Bukom Arena will become the incubator for the next generation of Ghanaian boxing champions.
