Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, says Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has no idea who the real Anas hence his support for him.
The Vice President has lauded Anas, extolling the relevance of what he does by way of exposing corruption.
He has subsequently encouraged the acclaimed undercover journalist to continue doing what he is doing.
“People should know that what they do in the dark can be exposed,” Dr Bawumia said in a teaser Anas posted on his Facebook wall on Sunday, June 3.
The Vice President’s comments come after a member of his party, Kennedy Agyapong, has been waging a crusade against Anas, saying he is corrupt and extortionist.
According to Mr. Agyapong, Vice President Bawumia may have hailed Anas because he does not know the other side of him.
“He doesn’t know him. If he knows the kind of person he is, he will not make that statement again…”
