A 21-year old barber is in the grips of the Agona Swedru Police for stealing three Mahama branded laptops.
Kwame Akraman, was arrested after he stole the laptops which belong to Gomoa Amowire Methodist Basic School in the Central region.
After stealing the laptops from the school which was on vacation, the barber decided to sell to a resident of the town who upon seeing the government stickers on them, reported it to a local Unit Committee Chairman.
The laptops, according to Nana Amoani of Kantinka FM were part of furthering ICT education in rural areas.
Kwame Akraman is being prepared for court.
