Corruption allegations against Jinapor, Asenso Boakye baseless – CID

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has cleared the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Samuel Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso Boakye of all corruption allegations made against them by Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as ‘A Plus.’ According to the CID, the allegations were baseless, unsubstantiated and lacked credibility, a statement signed and issued by the Director General of the Police CID, Mr Bright Oduro said on Monday. Wayne Rooney banned after admitting drink-driving

Former England captain Wayne Rooney has appeared in court and admitted drink-driving. He was arrested when police stopped a car in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the early hours on 1 September.
