Alleged Bribe: Video was recorded in October 2016 – Kweku Baako

The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako says the video in circulation on social media alleging bribery against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was recorded in October 2016.

Yesterday, December 1, 2020, a video fast went in circulation on social media that captures President Akufo-Addo receiving $40,000 bribe from two persons who visited him in his office.

Kweku Baako Jnr is a Ghanaian journalist and the editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper.

He said it was recorded by Salis Yakubu Atsuluwo, at a time President Akufo-Addo was campaigning to become President in the 2016 elections.

The video has shocked a lot of people to the bone and asking questions as to why a President could receive a bribe?

According to Kweku Baako Jnr, the video was recorded in October 2016 when Nana Akufo-Addo, who was then the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was seeking to unseat former President John Dramani Mahama.
