President Akufo-Addo has nominated regional ministers and deputy regional ministers for the six recently created regions.
A statement issued by government, signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, also announced changes in the appointments of four other regional ministries.
The statement said President Akufo-Addo expressed hope that Parliament would expedite the vetting of the Regional Ministers-designate and Regional deputy Ministers-designate to enable them assume their respective offices promptly, in order to begin and accelerate the establishment of the new regions.”
