Hiplife artiste Akoo Nana seems to have turned a new leaf and given his life to Christ, Myjoyonline.com has learnt.
The musician, sources tell Myjoyonline.com, was at the House of Life Chapel in Nungua where a special prayer session was held for him.
It is unclear what actually might have prompted the decision but this site has seen photographs of the musician on his knees receiving prayers.
The musician, born William Ankrah, posted some photographs on his social media handles particularly Instagram in church.
He said in one of the posts, “Yesterday was a big day for me. A new day and a new beginning. Found Christ and I am going to be his servant and do his work”
“I am a new creation in the Lord now. To God be the Glory. Thank you Jesus,” he added.
Akoo Nana, after frantic attempts by Myjoyonline.com to get a clarification to the photographs, replied that, “The pictures are true. I have found Christ and all I can say is, I am going to do his work.”
Asked whether the development means that he will not do hiplife music, he refused to answer.
An interesting development is that, the musician, who is always spotted with a Mohawk haircut currently has a neat low haircut .
