Airtel Ghana has served notice it is not recruiting contrary to “messages in circulation” claiming it is “offering part-time online jobs.
According to the telecommunication network, it has come to its attention that it is hiring and paying a weekly wage of Gh¢500. Airtel has thus denied the claim.
“Some of the messages claim that applicants are only required to work for two hours a day for a weekly income of GHC 500.
“We would like to state that there is no such job offers from Airtel Ghana. Our investigations indicate that this is a scam,” a statement from the Bharti-owned company said.
It added: “Airtel Ghana advertises job offers through its official communication channels and recognised media outlets.
“The general public is encouraged to disregard all such messages.”
