AFTER WAITING with annoyance for a long time without any message from the Bank of Ghana or the government on how they would get back their lost investments, aggrieved customers of defunct micro finance companies: DKM, Jaster Motors, God is Love and othersat Nkoranza, Wednesday, invoked the anger of the gods against President John Dramani Mahama.
They claimed that the president had failed to honour his promise to allow the bank to pay back their monies which the micro finance companies had misappropriated.
At a press conference on Wednesday at Nkoranza in the Brong-Ahafo Region, leader of the aggrieved customers, Kofi Sarpong, said if President Mahama could act swiftly to release theMontie 3 after a court of competent jurisdiction had jailed them for threatening judges with death, he should equally act urgently to allow BoG to pay back their monies because some of them had lost their lives as a result of the loss of their lifetime investments.
He then went ahead to pour libation to curse the president and former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Kofi Warmpah and leaders of all the micro finance companies who misused their investments.
