The case of the Delta Force 13 accused of assaulting the Ashanti Regional Security Liaison Officer has been adjourned to June 15, 2017 to enable the Attorney General’s Department to study the docket.

The 13 members of the vigilante group linked to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been charged with the offence of conspiracy to commit crime, assault on a public officer, causing unlawful damage and preventing a public officer from doing his lawful duty.

When the case was called on Thursday at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Circuit Court presided over by Mrs Mary Nsenkyire, the prosecutor, ACP Mr Asomadu Okyere-Darko, prayed for a new date because the docket was still with the Attorney General’s office.

The court subsequently adjourned the case to June 15, 2017.
