It seems that Ghanaian Actress Benedicta Gafah isn’t too happy about critics accusing her of bleaching her skin. A fan who obviously doesn’t know the difference between Skin Toning and Bleaching and has no idea about Benedicta Gafah’s background commented on her Instagram post:
“Madam u r bleaching……we saw ur colour wen u came into movie industry.
The actress therefore responded to the skin lightening accusations with a throwback photo of herself without make-up via Instagram @empress_dictabee:
“If u wana Know Who I really am ..ask those u knw around me first…..I just know what to take in to maintain my body,,some of u don’t train to take excess water out of the body,,u don’t even go to de hospital to know the type of foods n vegetables good for ur body, skin n blood….my body n skin is something I don’t play with…i knw i do have a soft skin n can easily get stretch marks, and in no tym my skin will fade out…if whatever am taught helps me……and will help me why must I bleach…..I started working on this 3yrs ago…..I think of the future and not now,I wanna be dat benny who will proudly talk of her body n skin in 10yrs tym even after birth….and also wana be de lady who will be proud of herself when she takes her clothes off….I want my body n skin to always do the talking,,whiles some of u guys think otherwise…some people’s interest are in outtings, smoking, alcohol, fatty stuffs e.t.c some of us too de gym n the doctor….will nvr take in tins dat will cos me harm today or in de future..never…Piece of advice ladies…let ur body n skin be ur priority….tanx
