Reports from Nante near Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo Region indicate that four people died on the spot when a Nissan Navara pickup collided with a taxi cab Sunday evening.
An eyewitness told Daily View Gh that the accident occurred at about 5.25 pm.
According to the eyewitness, the incident occurred when the driver of the pickup ran into the on-coming taxi cab in an attempt to overtake a vehicle ahead of him.
The bodies of the deceased, all males and occupants of the taxi cab, have been conveyed to the Kintampo Government Hospital.
According to the eyewitness, the driver of the pickup is yet to be found.
