A MESSAGE TO ALL CHIEF INSPECTORS SITTING FOR THE GHANA POLICE ACADEMY ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Dear Chief Inspectors,

As your colleague and representative on the Police Council, I extend my best wishes as we prepare for the Police Academy Entrance Examination scheduled for Sunday, 12th April 2026.

This is an important milestone in our growth and leadership development within the Service. Let us approach it with confidence, focus, and determination, relying on our experience and dedication.

Eschew any act of misconduct or malpractice that could bring yourself or the Ghana Police Service into disrepute. Let your conduct, inside and outside the examination hall, reflect the discipline that define us. I am confident in our collective ability to succeed.

I wish you all the very best.

Liget.
Chief Inspector Angel Lolo, Esq.

The examination will take place at three centres in Accra, and it is part of the process by the Police Administration to nurture a new crop of senior police officers.

In an earlier circular, the Police Administration stated that “candidates are to note that out of the total number writing the examinations, the first 700 in order of merit will be selected to constitute Cadet Course 54 and Cadet Course 55 respectively.”

Per the Police Service Regulations (CI 76), all those who have been given special recommendation by the Police Administration as well as those with direct entry by virtue of their academic background are eligible candidates into the Police Academy.
