The organisers of the Time Ghana Actors Entertainment Awards have honoured veteran actors who helped grow Ghana’s movie industry.
As part of the awards, organisers paid visits to some aged actors and actresses and presented them with citations of honour and other awards.
The organisers, led by Cecelia Gyaase Konamah, known popularly as Abena Ghana, visited the homes of the actors—most whom have been in the news for battling various ailments—and presented them with their awards, including plaques and citations.
The gesture was to recognise and celebrate their immense contribution towards the creative arts industry.
Actors recognised include Kumiwaa, Dzifa Glikpoe, Mawuli Semevor, Kwaku Arhin (Abrobe), Maame Afrokomaa, Maame Bronii, Eunice Banini, Kwame Peace, Osofo Moses and Brimah Watara, Aka Asteris.
