With few days to Edemfest 2019 edition, multiple award-winning Rapper, Edem, takes us on a time travel with this unexpected release he titles “Efo Kodjo”.
As swooning as it sounds, the song gives a pre-colonial picturesque with well crafted lyrics. Apart from the nostalgic play with words, Edem brings back the Ewe folklore with well woven lyrics in Ewe narrating the story of a wealthy man in the countryside with a lavish lifestyle and superfluous spending on women till all his earnings run out.
