Former Gender Minister, Nana Oye Lithur has failed in her attempt to go to Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Adentan constituency in the upcoming 2020 Parliamentary election.
After Saturday’s primary Gerald Robert, the Electoral Commission official announced the results as:
Mohammed Adamu Ramadan – 730
Nana Oye Lithur – 559
Rejected ballots – 1
A total of 1378 voters were expected but 1290 cast the ballot.
Actual votes cast were 1289
