Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al-Fayha FC following the expiration of his contract with FK Čukarički in Serbia.
The 23-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Al-Fayha FC for an undisclosed fee.
Owusu had been linked with top European clubs like PSG, Dortmund, and Marseille following an impressive Africa Cup of Nations campaign but has decided to join the Asian side for what is believed to be a bumper deal.
He featured in all of Ghana’s matches at the tournament in Egypt.
Owusu started his career with Vision FC in 2014 before moving Serbian side Radnik Sordolica two years later.
He moved to Turkish side Genclerberligi before returning to the Serbian league to sign for Čukarički in 2017 where he scored seven goals and provided 10 assists last season.
