The Accra Circuit Court has sentenced two of the seven men who escaped during a jailbreak at the Kwabenya Police Station to 60 months imprisonment.
Atta Kwadwo and Prince Osei aka Bebe will each serve 30 months for breaking jail.
They were jailed by the court, presided over by Mr Aboagye Tandoh, after they pleaded guilty to conspiracy to escape lawful custody and escaping from lawful custody.
The jailbreak, carried out on January 21, 2018 by six armed men, led to the death of a police officer, Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi.
