Ace singer and fashionista Mzbel together with Ghanaian boxing champ Bukom Banku and Ghanaian-American based entrepreneur, Kwamena Gyandoh sat in as judges for the newly introduced reality show named My Area Code, over the weekend.
The 2 day auditions which were held on Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12 respectively at Chicken Republic at Osu had a massive patronage leaving the front view of the venue immensely crowded.
The reality show which has been created basically to have people represent their respective neighbourhoods in order to tell or show how unique their area is from other areas, had the audition begin at exactly 2:00pm with most of the representatives hailing from La and Tema. Other areas were Akuapim, Northern region, Dansoman, Kasoa and many more.
Mzbel who was seated in-between her colleague judges possessed a more relaxed and friendly demeanour which had the representatives feel at ease without any form of tension. Braimah Kamoko (Bukom Banku) on the other hand wore the face of American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and was more concern about getting the task done but giggled and laughed when the time was right for him to do so. Kwamena Gyando also known as Kay Gee was a bit of hard nut to crack as he was more concerned about the technical aspect in-lieu with the display of one’s talent.
