The police administration has promoted sixty-one police inspectors to the rank of Chief Inspectors.
Additionally, 678 sergeants have also been promoted to the rank of Inspectors.
The promotion according to the statement takes effect from January 1, 2017 however there would be no payment of arrears.
The statement congratulated all the newly promoted Chief Inspectors and Inspectors, especially Inspector Mohammed Bako and Inspector Justice Abudulai Issah of the Public Affairs Directorate
