Boxer, Braimah Kamoko, aka Bukom Banku, is reportedly nowhere to be found to serve him a writ of summons to appear in court to answer to charges of assault brought against him by the Police.

Police prosecutors handling Banku’s case told the Accra Central District Court on Monday that the boxer could not be located and pleaded for some time to manhunt him.

Banku was expected in court this morning to answer charges of assault leveled against him by Martha Nelson, a hairdresser in Chorkor, Accra.

He has been charged with two counts – assault and causing unlawful harm.

According to a charge sheet from the court, the 38-year-old who is also a musician unlawfully assaulted one Martha Nelson on the 11th of August, 2016 at James Town in Accra.

In the said event, he also “intentionally and unlawfully caused damage to a Nokia phone valued GHC40.00” belonging to the woman.

In March this year, the cruiserweight champion was also arrested and detained for assaulting four ladies after a confrontation.
