In another world, Asamoah Gyan would be a full time musician, likely churning out hits after hits. Unfortunately, the arts industry doesn’t pay that well in Africa, so football became the only option to survive and live good.
A video posted to Facebook shows Gyan rehearsing with his band and singing Kofi Kinaata’s popular song ‘Sweetie Pie’. The Black Stars Skipper effortlessly sings the song so well, anyone hearing the song for the first time will swear it was composed by Gyan.
