The Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party for the Akuapem North Constituency, in the Eastern Region, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei has counselled the 2016 BECE candidates in her constituency step up their studies during the last hours to the impending examinations.
She said it wasn’t too late for the candidates to put in last minutes efforts towards preparing themselves adequately for their maiden external examination in life.
Nana Ama Dokua called on them to eschew fear and examination fever that often results in poor performances from candidates.
‘Students often fail their examinations not out of ill-preparedness however due to fear that characterize candidates’, she admonished.
The NPP Parliamentary candidate gave these remarks when she presented mathematical sets and pens to all the finalists in her constituency.
The eloquent aspiring law maker donated over 2000 maths sets and pens to candidates in all the 63 Junior High Schools she visited in the Akuapem North Constituency.
She wished them well and tasked to them to make Akuapem proud by excelling in the examination.
So that they will all gain admission to their preferred choices of senior high schools.
Nana Ama Dokua added that, Nana Akufo Addo is still committed to his free SHS policy, and God willing should he win power in this year’s polls, he will definitely implement that policy to in order to relief their parents of such bills.
Recipients of the donations were joyous and appreciative of the kind gesture by the MP aspirant.
They were of the belief such donations will spare them on to give out their best during the examination.
They promised not to disappoint the PC, their parents and the schools they are representing.
The parliamentary candidate was accompanied by constituency party executive members and host of other party activists.
