President John Dramani Mahama this morning began his official visit to Japan with a courtesy call on Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. \
The President was accompanied by First Lady Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama who has since addressed the Association of Wives of African Ambassadors in Tokyo at a Special Luncheon held in her honour.
President Mahama will later today hold talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
