Fourteen (14) persons have been rescued under the rubble of a three storey-building which collapsed in Cantonments in Accra on Saturday afternoon.
One person believed to be the owner of the building is dead.
Some of the workers and eye witness have so far attributed the collapse of the building to a weak pillars which they say gave in to the weight of the building. Citi News’ Pearl Akanya Ofori reported that personnel from the Ghana Police Sercive, NADMO, Ambulance service, Armed Forces and crime team from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) were at the site.
